Take Me Back to the Round Hill

If you're looking for a peaceful, luxurious vacation with your spouse and even your kids, then you must visit the Round Hill Hotel in Montego Bay, Jamaica. It is like being in a dream and you may never want to leave once you step foot on their property. I cried when we had to leave. Of course, I missed my kids, but I had never stayed at a hotel where every need was met and where they made you feel like family. The hotel is rich in history and you can read all about it here.
Every few months, Troster and I go on a trip together. We usually stay fairly close by, but Troster surprised me with this trip for our nine year wedding anniversary. It was the best surprise.

We love staying at small hotels, but we also don't like just laying around. The Round Hill had plenty to do from swimming/snorkeling, going on walks on the nature trails, a garden tour, spa, yoga and a host of different excursions if you wished to go off of the property. We had breakfast made to order every morning right outside our room after a restful sleep in the most comfortable bed.
After breakfast, we would usually go for a long walk and then go snorkeling right on the property. We did do a private one-hour snorkel trip off the property one morning and it was just the right amount of excitement, for what was a planned trip for relaxation. We had lunch either at the beach or at the restaurant right above the beach. Everything was just a short walk away. Troster played tennis almost everyday and got lucky because they had tennis clinics going on that week with an old tennis pro. I decided to take my relaxation to the next level and go to the spa. One of the best parts of each day though was the afternoon tea. An assortment of hot teas, coffee, sweets and savory items. We got to mingle with the other guests staying on the property and enjoy the gorgeous views.
Every night Round Hill had some form of evening entertainment. Whether it be a reggae band, dancing, beach barbecue, or a cocktail reception there was something each night to keep us entertained. Dinner was prepared to order and it was so relaxing eating under the stars.
We can't wait to go back to the Round Hill and hopefully, next time bring Caroline and Charlie. They have nannies on site, so you can also have time alone with your significant other. With it being only a two hour flight from Atlanta and just a forty-five minute drive from the Montego Bay airport, it's a no brainer to stay here. Round Hill is a dream and truly like no other.
