A Guide to Visiting Serenbe

We've been going to Serenbe for over thirteen years now. It's where we had our engagement photos taken, celebrated numerous birthdays and even gone for just a quick day trip. We just got back from a two night stay just Troster and I before baby number three arrives. With it only being an hour from Atlanta, it's easy getaway from the city. If you aren't from Atlanta, it's only a thirty minute drive from the Atlanta Airport.

Serenbe is a place where you can truly get away from the stress of everyday life. I love starting my morning by going on a peaceful walk and watching the sunrise, followed by a delicious breakfast at the Farmhouse. If we bring the kids, after breakfast we may go on a tractor ride to feed the animals, followed by a nature walk + jump on the trampoline, and a bonfire at night. In the summer, we can spend the day at the pool and ride bikes around the community. They also have summer camp for kids and we hope to try that one day + stay for a week.

If it's a getaway without our kids, you may find us in a yoga class, at the spa or on a hike. You can even take a trail ride or do a garden tour on their on-site farm. Other activities include: wine tasting, cooking classes, private yoga classes, the farmers market, shows from the Playhouse and more. You can find more activities here.

They have four restaurants at Serenbe, the Farmhouse Restaurant is on the Inn grounds + where they serve breakfast each morning. They also do a fried chicken lunch on the weekends. Other restaurants include The Blue Eyed Daisy, The Hill, and Halsa.
If you stay the night at Serenbe, you have a choice of staying at the Inn (adults only), the Inn Grounds or in the community. The community is perfect of staying at if you are bringing your entire family, or stating for more than a few nights. We have stayed in all three options and have not been disappointed.
If you are needing some rest and relaxation, book a trip to Serenbe. There's nothing quite like it. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an email, I'd be happy to answer any questions.
