I love iced tea, and I'll drink it all year. There's just something about having iced tea on a hot summer day. It's also the perfect afternoon pick-me-up and is so refreshing. Here's my recipe.
Summertime Iced Tea:
1 large pitcher
4 -5 black tea bags
2 peppermint tea bags
Fresh lemon juice
Simple Syrup if you like it sweet
In a kettle, boil enough water to fill your pitcher. Once it boils, steep your tea bags for 5-6 minutes. Get a large glass ready with some crushed ice. Remove the tea bags and pour your tea over the ice. Add in lemon juice, fresh mint and simple syrup, if using. Stir, sit back and relax. Happy Summer friends!
